Ashland Progress
Mrs. Elizabeth Hanners, widow of the late B. T. Hanners, departed this life 
Thursday, July 14, 1921, age a little more than seventy years. Funeral services 
were held July 15th at Shiloh church, where had been a member about forty-five 
years. She was a good Christian woman and during her illness she called her 
children around her and told them not to grieve after her that she was ready to 
go. She was the mother of 11 children, 7 of whom are still living. The funeral 
service was preached by the writer in the presence of a large congregation. W. M.
