The body returned to Alexander City by train on Monday, following the request of the family for final interment in this country. Officiating were the Revs. Grady Birchfield, Paul Jones and Eld-ridge Easterwood. Burial was in the Bethel cemetery, with Brady Whatley Funeral Home in charge. Active pallbearers were as follows: Garron Grant, Ralph Hanson, Woodfin Wilson, Lauree Voss, Doug Moody, Clyde Voss, Otha B. Maddox, Paul Satterfield, Melvin Prichard and Sergeant Street. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sibyl Burnette Hanson; one son, William Larry, and mother, Mrs. Eunice Hanson, all of Alexander City, Rt. 3; one brother, Garron Hanson, and two sisters, Mrs. Jimmy Smith and Miss Genell Hanson, of Alexander City, Rt. 4.
