Hardy, 78, of Lineville were today at 2 p. m. at Union D Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Parker and the Rev. Don Elliott officiating. Burial was to be in Delta Cemetery with Blair-Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Hardy died Wednesday at Clay County Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lorene H. Nix of Lineville; a son, Willie Bruce Hardy of Lineville; a sister, Mrs. Adelle Freeman of Delta; three brothers, John Tom Turner of Fort Payne, Edward Turner and Alfred Turner, both of Oxford; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Mancel Bowling, Mayfield Robertson, Junior Bell, Jim Frank Dingier, Jimmy Dingier and R. C. Miller. Mrs. Hardy was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and a member of Union D Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress.
