Anniston Star
Cecil Hardy, 80, of Lineville, died Monday at Clay County after a long illness. 
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Delta Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Don Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair 
Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Julia 
Hardy; a daughter, Mrs. Lorene Nix; a son, Willie Bruce Hardy, both of Lineville; 
two sisters, Mrs. Eula Smith and Mrs. Thomas Maxham, both of Birmingham; three 
brothers, J. Hardy and Toland Hardy, both of Birmingham, and John Hardy of 
Childersburg, and a grandchild.
