Services for Walter D. Harrell, 78, of Lineville, Rt. 3, were to be today at 2 
p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev, Jack Deweese officiating. 
Burial was to be in Bellview Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville 
in charge. Mr. Harrell died Sunday at Clay County Hospital after a long illness. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mazie Harrell of Lineville; a daughter Mrs. 
James Taylor of Talladega; a son, Tony Harrell of California; a sister, Miss 
Olive Harrell of Talladega; a brother, Joe Harrell of Talladega; and four 
grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be Arnold Clark, Jim Frank Dingier, the Rev. 
Archie Parker, Earl Shirey, Billy Joe Driggers and Otis Draggers. Mr. Harrell 
was a native of Talladega County and had moved to Clay County a year and a half 
ago. He was a retired electrician and a member of the First Baptist Church of 
Talladega.
