T. Harrison was born in Chambers County Alabama, February 15, 1843, and was married to Samantha J. Cole December 24, 1865. To them were born eleven children six sons and five daughters. Three of the children preceded him in death. He joined the M. E. Church South in childhood and lived a consistent member until his death on August 11, 1914, at which time he was 71 years, 5 months and 26 days old. His remains were laid to rest at Black's Chapel August 12th, amid a large concourse of people.
