Bobby Harris, 38, of Lineville was killed Thursday in an accident at Kimberly-
Clark's Mellow Valley shipping facility about 10 miles south of here. Clay County 
Coroner Claxton Denny said Harris, a retired serviceman, was killed when he was 
struck by a log and pulled into the machinery of a debarker. "The log was on a 
belt being fed into the machine and Harris apparently was caught by the log and 
forced into the roller part of the machine," said Denny. "He was cleaning around 
where the logs go into the machine with a shovel when the accident happened." The 
coroner ruled that Harris, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Thompson of Ashland, 
died from "severe internal injuries."
