Ashland Progress
Robert Gay Harris, little son of the late C.R. Harris and wife Mrs. Mary Harris, 
was born May 26, 1929, and died February 26, 1930. Funeral services were 
conducted by the writer and burial in Providence cemetery. Little Robert is 
survived by his mother, four brothers and two sisters, besides a number of other 
relatives who mourn his departure. He was a bright and healthy child and was the 
idol of the home About two months before his death by some accident he suffered 
a serious burn and never was well again. Other complications arose and finally 
the heart-broken mother, brothers and sisters had to say goodbye to the little 
son and brother, but the good Master said "Suffer little children to come upto 
me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of Heavon". May God bless 
sister Harris and her little family is our prayer. J. W. Welburn.
