Clay County Advanced 
Funeral rites for Mrs. Annie P. Harris were held at Cragford Baptist Church on 
Monday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. O.C. Nichols, the pastor. Interment was 
in Cragford Cemetery, Blair Funeral Directors in charge. Pallbearers were Buford 
Harris, Bertron Harris, Berford Harris, Eldred Nix Bobby Magee Jr. Joe Fetner. 
Mrs. Harris spent much of her life in the Cragford Community and was a member of 
the Cragrord Methodist Church. For the past year she had made her home with a 
daughter, Mrs. J.J. Cockrell, in Bham, had been an invalid for the past several 
years but had reached the ripe age of 93 years. She passed away at her home on 
June 13th at an early morning hour. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.J. 
Cockrell, Bham; Mrs. P. H. Jordan, Talladega. One son, Clarence Harris, Bham; 
cite sister, Mrs. Mary Collier, Elba; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 
9 great great-grandchildren.
