She was 12 years seven months and one day old. A loved one from us has gone. A place in the home is vacant, which can never be filled. Leslie was a sweet girl always flashing a smile and having a kind word for all she came in contact with. She was loved by all who knew her. Only twelve years old she said, God had heard her prayers. She talked to her Sunday School mates, telling them how to live to get to Heaven. Leslie will be missed by all who knew her, in the home, Sunday School and elsewhere. The Docters, nurse, parents and neighbors, did all loving hands could do to save the sweet life, but the loving God who loved her more called her home. Dear parents and friends let us be submissive to him, who doeth all things well until we all meet her around the great white throne. She was laid to rest in the Mt. Moriah cemetery. Services was conducted by Rev. B. K. Layton, the writer.
