G. Hart, age 74 died at his home four miles east of Ashland Friday evening. His death is thought to have been due to heart trouble with which he had been afflicted for some time. He lived only a few minutes after being stricken. Mr. Hart formerly resided in the Chandler Springs community but went to Arkansas some twenty years ago and made his home there for fifteen years, returning to this county about five years ago. His remains were interred at Pleasant Grove cemetery Sunday morning, the funeral services being held at 10 o'clock. Mr. Hart was twice married and was the father of a large family. His wife and nine of his children survive him. Present at his funeral were two of his sons, Joe Hart, of Ashland, and James Hart of Talladega and four daughters; Mrs. W. J. Williams of Sylacauga. Mrs. M. P. Rockett and Mrs. P. R. Rockett of Bessemer and Mrs. D. Jones of Winsboro La., Jno. J. Hart, son who resides at Cadagap Ark., and two daughters, Mrs. G. J. Wellborn, of Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. Ed Driggars of Cadagap Ark, were unable to attend.
