C. Haskell, who died at her home at Pyriton Tuesday, were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from Concord Baptist Church at Pyriton. She was 73 years old. Mrs. Haskell died of a heart ailment after an illness of two days. A native of Pyriton, she had lived there all her life. Mrs. Haskell was the oldest of eight living children of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bishop. Officiating at the funeral were the Rev. C. W. Matthews and the Rev. Robert Ingram. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband; four sons, Bowie, Roop and Clayton Haskell, all of Gary, Ind., and Troyca Haskell, Montgomery; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Bonner, Ashland; Mrs. Bob Griffin, Lineville; Mrs. Roscoe Jones, Franklin, Ga and Mrs. Clarence Burchfield, Talladega; six sisters, Mrs. O. E. Ray and Mrs. Gus Brown, Lineville; Mrs. Tom Johnston, Birmingham; Mrs. Gertrude Edmondson, Talladega; and Mrs. E. A. Harris and Mrs. Leo R. Jones, Heflin; a brother, E. S. Bishop, Bessemer, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
