Our Mountain Home
On last Thursday while playing in the gin house, the clothing of the eight-year-
old son of Dave Hassell of Pyriton was caught by some part of the revolving 
machinery and he was thrown violently against some timbers, receiving fatal 
injuries. One arm was completely torn off, a leg broken, and other injuries 
sustained from which he died the day following.

He is buried at Concord Cemetery, Clay County, AL.
