Haynes, was familiarly known as "Uncle Johnie Haynes", died at the residence of his son, George Haynes, a few miles north of Ashland Sunday and was buried at Concord cemetery Monday. Rev. F. J. Ingram conducting the funeral service. He lacked only a few months being four score years old age and had been residing in this section most, if not all, his life. He was a veteran of the Civil War. His wife and several sons and daughters survive him.
