Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Ann Haynes were held at the Olive Branch 
church on Wednesday at two by the Elder H. H. Goodman of Ashland Rt. 1, Mrs. 
Haynes died at her home in the Olive Branch community on Tuesday morning after a 
long period of ill health. She had spent all of her life in that community. She 
was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Beck and was 71 years of age. She 
is survived by four sons; Robert Harmon and Jewel Haynes of Jacksonville, Fla. 
Leo and Roy Haynes of Talladega; two daughters, Mrs. Ethridge Moon of Olive 
Branch; and Mrs. Mamie Bolt of Talladega; two brothers James Beck of Ashland and 
E. E. Beck of Sycamore; four sisters, Mrs. J. J. Robertson of Ocoee. Fla. Mrs. 
Jesse Treadwell of Clanton; Mrs. W. T. Barton of Albertville. and Mrs. J. D. 
West of Fall Church. Va. Interment was in the church cemetery with Blair 
directing. Pallbearers were J. P. Elliott, E. P. Elliott, A.L. Hunt, Gus McGlon, 
Ed Warren and A. P. Dison.
