Our community was saddened on Wednesday morning when the news began to spread 
that Emory Haynes, the youngest son of Mr. A.L. Haynes was dead. He bad just 
reached young manhood and no young man had a brighter future than did this quiet, 
reserved young man. He was sick only few days, but so deep seated was the malady 
that he could not survive and after all that relatives, friends and physicians 
could do was done for him, he quietly passed away. He was buried yesterday at 
Liberty church.
