Haynie, 82, of Lineville, Rt. 2, will be at 2 p.m. today at Barfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Latham and the Rev. Clarence Wood officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The body will be at the funeral home until an hour before services at which time it will be taken to the church. Mr. Haynie died Friday at Lineville Geriatric Center. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Denson and Mrs. F.D. Clark, both of Lineville; two sons, Jimmy F. Haynie of Charleston, S.C., and Jerry F. Haynie of Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Miss Clarice Haynie of Alexander City and Mrs. Ellis Gregg of Lineville; a brother, O.S. Haynie of Lineville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sherman Carwile, Bernard Spurlin, Edgar May, Conrad Graben, Charles Upchurch and Elton Reeves. Mr. Haynie was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Barfield Baptist Church.
