Services for Horace L. Heath, 23, of Alexander City, Rt. 3, will be Tuesday at 2 
p.m. at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold McCain and the 
Rev. Elmer Wheeles officiating. Burial will be the adjoining cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the funeral home until 
services. Mr. Heath died Sunday in a car accident in Tallapoosa County. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Becky Amason Heath of Alexander City, Rt. 3; a 
daughter, Miss Merideth Lee Heath of Alexander City, Rt. 3; his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Byron E. Heath of Cragford; two sisters, Mrs. Sue Smith of Ashland and Miss 
Barbara Heath of Cragford; five brothers, Sherwood Heath and Johnny Heath, both 
of Alexander City, Brenton Heath of Ashland and Jimmy Heath and Bryon Eugene 
Heath, both of Cragford; his grandmother, Mrs. Daisy Heath of Oxford, and his 
grandfather, Homer Brown of Alexander City. Mr. Heath was a native of Calhoun 
County. He was a Baptist.
