Bob Brown and the Rev. James Duke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The body will remain at the funeral home until an hour before services. Mrs. Hendrix died Friday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Kyphia Hill of Lineville, Mrs. Alma Spurlin of Oxford and Mrs. Gladys Freeman of Abel; four sons, George Hendrix of Lineville, James Hendrix of Clayton, Hugh J. Hendrix of Barfield, and Fred Hendrix of Talladega; a sister, Mrs. Maez Phillips of Lineville; 25 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Hendrix was a Randolph County native and a Clay County resident for most of her life. She was a member of Christiana Baptist Church.
