Ashland Progress
Mrs. Minnie Mae Hendrix, age 67, died at the residence Saturday, April 4th. 
Services were conducted by Rev. Clyde Latham, Rev. Bob Curlee, Rev. B. W. Mathews 
Sunday afternoon at Barfield Baptist Church with burial in the Chinch Cemetery. 
Blair Funeral Home Directors in charge. Family members include the husband, L. B. 
Hendrix, daughter, Mrs. Jewel Thomas, Ashland, son, Felix Hendrix, Lineville, 
four sisters, five brothers, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Mrs. 
Hendrix spent much of her time the past several years under the care of Clay 
County Hospital staff. She was a very pleasant person to know and to love. 
Pallbearers were Warren Sides, Jim Sides, Elbert Denson, Larry Thomas, Gerald 
Hendrix, Billy Joe Graben.
