Lineville Headlight
Fred Lee Hester, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hester was born in Clay County, Ala., 
June 30th, 1901, and departed this life Nov 20th, 1908, at the home of his 
father, near Lineville, after a very short illness. He was buried in the city 
cemetery at Lineville, the writer conducting the funeral services. His 
grandmother and grandfather, Mr. and Mrs. Turner of Atlanta. Ga. were present to 
comfort their daughter in the hour of her grief. The dear little boy was the only 
son in the family. Mr. Hester is a good Christian citizen and the entire 
community tender to the family their heartfelt sympathy. Affectionately their 
pastor Jno. P. Shaffer.
