Funeral services were conducted for Huel Jeremiah Hill, 76, at Black's Chapel 
Methodist Church April 10. The Rev. Hobert Murphree officiated. Blair funeral 
Home was in charge and interment was in the Black Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Hill died 
at his home Tuesday following aa illness of several years. Ha had resided in Clay 
County all his life and was a retired farmer. He survived by his wife. Mrs. Lola 
C. Hill, Lineville; one daughter, Mrs. Emma Sue McCluere Columbus, Ohio; two 
sons, Lamar Hill, Tuscaloosa, and S. Hill Columbus, Ohio; three stepdaughters, 
Mrs. Lois Moore, Linville, Mrs. Inez Stevens, Rt. Cullman, Mrs. Addie Sprayberry, 
Rt. 3. Heflin and stepson one Marvin McCormick Heflin. Pallbearers were Masons 
who are also ta charge of graveside rites.
