Mr. Huel Hill, Friday night. Dec. 8, after a life of devotion to Christian ideals and work, having joined the church at Black's Chapel at 13 years of age. For a number of years, she had been badly crippled but bore her sufferings with resignation and faith in God's goodness, never complaining and of times when so many people stayed away on account of bad weather, "Aunt Sallie" as she was so familiarly called, would be at her place in Sunday School and church, always shedding sunshine and gladness, making people-better with her works of kindness and helpfulness. She loved the Lord. His people, His work, and was truly loyal to her church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Sincerest sympathy is extended the host of bereaved ones. Ashland Progress: A gloom of sadness was cast over our entire community Saturday when news came that Miss Sallie Hill had passed away Friday night. She was one of the most faithful consecrated Christians who ever lived in our midst, was a friend to all, especially the needy, loved dearly by all who knew her and will be sorely missed Although crippled for years, she never failed to attend Sunday School and Church unless physically unable to do so, was a woman of prayer and be lived in bringing God into everyday life. As we think of her beautiful life, we can truly say that she was a good Samaritan, doing good to all in her community. May God's comfort and sincerest sympathy be extended the host of bereaved ones.
