Services for Mrs. Carrie Dell Sheppard Hines, 72. of Wedowee will be Friday at 
noon at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Heard officiating. Burial will 
be in Jehovah Cemetery in Cragford with Sims Funeral Services in charge. The 
family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight. Mrs. Hines 
died Sunday at Randolph County Hospital. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. 
Eunice Sims of Wedowee, Mrs. Mary Ruth Mosely, Mrs. Judy Nell Pierson and Mrs. 
Cathy Lou Lyles. all of Lineville: seven sons. Curtis Hines Jr. of Fort Walton 
Beach. Fla., Fred Hines of Decatur. Ga. Charlie Hines of Dayton, Ohio, Willie 
Lewis Hines of Maryland, George Hines of Heflin, and Melvin Hines and Bobby Joe 
Hines, both of Wedowee; two sisters, Mrs. Corine Lutheraan and Mrs. Pauline 
Cooks, both of Los Angeles; two brothers. Leonard Eugene Sheppard and Jake 
Sheppard, both of Atlanta; 60 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
