Our Mountain Home
Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Hobbs. On Thursday, the 14th, Mrs. Elizabeth Hobbs died 
at the home of her son, John Hobbs, three miles west of town, and her remains 
were taken to Pleasant Grove church, Clay County, for burial. The deceased was 
the mother of Mrs. George Hobbs, of Talladega, and Mrs. Charley Hobbs, of Clay 
County. Mrs. Hobbs was 86 years of age at the time of her death and had a great 
many friends and relatives in Talladega and Clay counties.
