Anniston Star
Mrs. Clementine P. Hobbs. 89. died at her residence at 217 West 15th Street at 
10:45 o'clock last night after a short illness. Funeral services., were held this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock at Pleasant Grove in Clay County with the Rev. M. 
Carpenter officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey in charge. She 
is survived by two sons. Dr. C. M. Hobbs or Guntersville and W. C. Hobbs of 
Lineville; two daughters, Mrs. W. Y. Smith of Lineville. and Mrs. W. B. Crabb of 
Anniston, ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and four great-great 
grandchildren.
