Ashland Progress
A. T. Hobbs, prominent and highly respected citizen of the county, died at his 
home at Erin, Monday. He had not been well for some time, but his death came 
rather sudden, as his family and friends did not suspect that the end was so 
near. Funeral services were held Tuesday and the remains, were interred in the 
cemetery at Pleasant Grove. A large congregation attended. Mr. Hobbs was a 
minister of the Christian church. He was sixty-nine years of age and is survived 
by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
