Services for Harlan Horten Hobbs, 89. of Lineville, Rt. 3, were today at 
Campbell's Springs Church of Christ with Don Moore officiating. Burial was in 
Ashland City Cemetery with Blair-Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Hobbs died 
Tuesday in Lineville. Survivors include two daughters. Mrs. Vilma Finch and Mrs. 
Iris Bowden, both of Lineville; a son, Harlon 0. Hobbs of Talladega; five 
grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. Pallbearers were Ronald Finch, Bruce Bowden, 
David Pittard, Groce Campbell and John Patterson. Mr. Hobbs was a native and 
lifelong resident of Clay County and a retired merchant. He was a veteran of 
World War I and a member of Campbell's Springs Church of Christ.
