Talladega Daily Home
The funeral services for Mrs. Viola Hobbs, 46. who died Tuesday night were held 
at Pleasant Grove church Clay County Wednesday afternoon. Interment was in the 
Pleasant Grove cemetery, Usrey conducting. Mrs. Hobbs died at her home on the 
Anniston highway East of Talladega after a long illness. She had lived in 
Talladega for several years, having come here from Clay County. Surviving is her 
husband. J. W. Hobbs; four sons. Y.L., B.L., Woodward and Dewey Hobbs; one 
brother S. O. Wesley, one sister Mrs. G. W. Watson, and two half-brothers. Gordon 
and Millard Lynn.
