Ashland Progress
The remains of Mrs. Minnie Hodnett, wife of John Hodnett, were sent here from 
Winter Garden, Fla., Wednesday and buried at Providence, in her old home 
community, Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Hodnett was a daughter of V. G. Mathews who 
now resides in the western part of Clay County. She and her husband both 
formerly lived in Clay County and have many friends and relatives here. She died 
at Winter Gardens Monday. We are informed that the cause of her death was acute 
indigestion.

Sep-1910:
The infant of Mr. and Mrs. John Hodnett was buried at Providence Monday 
afternoon.
