Roland Hood 71 Box 44 Wright Road Phenix City died Thursday Oct 4 at Cantebury 
Nursing Home The funeral will be 4 pm EST Monday at St John Baptist Church in 
Cragford Ala with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery according to Battle and Battle 
Funeral Home. Mr.  Hood was born Dec 19, 1912, in Cragford son of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. Moses Hood. He was a member of the St John Baptist Church. Survivors 
include his wife Dorothy four sons. the pastor Donnie Hood of Phenix City, 
Tillman Hood, Lamar Hood and the Pastor Dewayne Hood all of Columbus, two 
daughters Barbara Alexander and Vivian Edmond both of Phenix City, one brother 
Columbus Hood of Columbus, one sister Louise Johnson of Columbus 16 grandchildren 
one great-grandchild.

Additional Comments:
Note: It is possible the name of the cemetery listed above is BETHANY not 
Bethlehem.
