The county, a most excellent citizen, the church, h shining light, his family a wise and discreet father and counsellor, And while we deplore our great loss, we fully recognize his great gain, and with bowed heads and melting hearts, humbly submit to God's sovereign will being done. Be it further Resolved: That we tender to Ihe bereaved wife and children our heartfelt sympathy and condolence. Be it further Resolved: That a copy of these memorial resolutions be sent to the county paper and request them to publish same and also a copy be sent to the family.
