Her husband died April 6th, 1921, just a year and two days ago. Mrs. Horn was born at Carrolton, Ga., Nov. 6, 1851. She was married to Mr. Horn August 21, 1873, and they spent together 48 years of happy married life. To them were born nine children, six of whom are living. Two of their sons, Blake and Mack, reside in the West, Marvin, Hugh, Grady and Miss Maggie reside near Ashland. The deceased was a member of an old and prominent Clay County family, and a large group of relatives are made sad by her departure. The Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at Sardis, conducted by Rev. L. A. Waits, pastor of the Ashland Methodist church. Revs. S. J. Ingram and W. M. Garrett took part in the service and poke tributes of esteem for the deceased. The funeral was attended by a large congregation, attesting the high regard in which Mrs. Horn was held.
