Our Mountain Home
Fred Horn, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Horn of Clairmont Springs, was killed in an 
accident at a sawmill in Waycross, Ga., Thursday, when a flying piece of broken 
machinery struck him and caused a fatal accident. Mr. Horn had been working in 
the mill for three months. He was 26 years old and is survived by a wife and one 
child. The body has been brought back to Clairmont Springs for burial.
