Ashland Progress 
Funeral services for Mr. W. A. Horn, 83, were held Friday at 11 o'clock at 
Clairmont Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Ingram, Rev. J. B. Marlow and 
Rev. Dwight Harris officiating, Interment was in adjoining cemetery directed by 
Usrey Funeral Directors, of Talladega. Grandsons were pallbearers, He is survived 
by six daughter, Mrs. Mayme Williams, Mrs. Myrtis Foster, Mrs. Nora Heath, 
Talladega; Mrs. Ruth Hamlin, Ash land; Mrs. Virgie Roberts, Annis ton; Mrs. 
Florence Robertson Bryan, Tex. Four sons, Sidney Talladega; Olin, Simm, Henry, 
Clairmont Springs; 38 grandchildren, two great grandchildren. The deceased died 
of injuries received in an automobile accident about 20 hours earlier. He was a 
prominent citizen of his community and highly respected by all who knew him.
