A. Horn, age 73, of Clairmont Springs passed away at Citizens Hospital, Talladega, Feb. 12. Mrs. Horn suffered a stroke at her home on the morning of her 53rd wedding anniversary, Feb. 6. All her life was spent in and near Clairmont Springs. She was devoted to her family and loyal to her church. Many have enjoyed the hospitality of her home. Friends and relatives alike came to pay tribute to one whom they respected and loved. She is survived by her husband and ten children. They are Henry, Sim, and Olin of Clairmont Springs; Sidney Horn, Mrs. Nora Heath, Mrs. Mayme Williams, Mrs. Myrtie Foster of Talladega; Mrs. Virginia Roberts of Anniston; Mrs. Ruth Hamlin, Ashland; and Mrs. Florence Robertson of Bryan, Tex.; two brothers, Jim Jenkins of Lineville and Ned Jenkins of Talladega; 35 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Brother Floyd Burgess, her pastor, and Brother Sim Ingram of Talladega conducted the funeral at Clairmont Springs last Sunday at 11:00 o'clock with Usrey in charge. Pallbearers were Wilburn and Jack Williams, Roy Heath Jr., Howard, Bill, and Joe Horne, all grandsons of the deceased. Honorary pallbearers were Howard Purcell and Ed Rozelle of Talladega, C. W. McKay and Hiram McMath of Ashland, Dwight W. Jackson and Marshall F. Hobbs of Clairmont Springs.
