Ashland Progress
This community was made sad by the death of Mrs. Margaret Emma Horne, who was 
laid to rest in Clairmont Springs cemetery Thursday afternoon of last week. She 
was the widow of the late W. Emory Horne of near Chandler Springs. She is 
survived by five children, Dall Horne, with whom she lived, John and Matt Horne, 
Mrs. Will Harrell and Mrs. Rob Powers besides a host of grandchildren, great-
grandchildren and numerous other relatives. Bro. Sim Ingram of Talladega 
officiated.
