S. J. Ingram, of Talladega. The slaying of Mr. Horn is said to have culminated in a controversy, between him and brother-in-law, Bernard Hollingsworth, who is charged with firing the fatal shot. The shooting is said to have occurred at the home of the two men, who had been farming together, upon their return from a squirrel hunt. After the killing Hollingsworth is said to have walked to Talladega and surrendered himself at the county jail, claiming self-defense. The slain man leaves a widow and three small children. He is also survived by his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Horn, several brothers and sisters. The family formerly resided in Clay County.
