Services for Mrs. Jessie Elizabeth Horne, 83, of Talladega, were today at 2 p.m 
at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walker Bynum officiating. Burial was 
in Clairmont Springs Cemetery, Mrs. Horne died Monday at her home. Survivors 
include two sons, Lonnie Merrial Horne of Birmingham and James Lavelle Horne of 
Talladega; a sister, Mrs. Mary Laughinghouse of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, 
Elbert Caldwell of Eastaboga; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 
Mrs. Horne was a Clay County native and a Talladega resident for the last three 
years. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist church.
