Anniston Star
King David Huddleston, 82, of Lineville, died Thursday at Southeast Nursing Home 
after a long illness. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Belleview Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Martin L. Deweese and Elder W. B. Denney officiating. 
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home 
in charge. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Mildred Kirkland of Newnan, 
Ga., Mrs. Irene McVey and Mrs. Helen McVey, both of Lineville, Mrs. Pauline 
Carlisle of Alexander City, Mrs. Bernie Mae Gortney of Ashland, and Mrs. Ruth 
O'Daniel of Columbia, S.C.; four sons, Robert Huddleston of Millerville, J. R. 
Huddleston of Brooksville. Fla., Fred Huddleston of Washington, and Dallas 
Huddleston of Illinois; 28 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren. Grandsons 
will be pallbearers. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour 
prior to services.
