Anniston Star
Mrs. Mary Lavonia Huddles ton, 75. of Lineville. Rt. 2, died Saturday at Clay 
County Hospital. Funeral services were today at Bellview Baptist Church with the 
Rev. M. L. Deweese and the Rev. Dee Hurst officiating. Burial was in the ad 
joining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. Survivors 
include her husband. King D. Huddleston of Lineville; six daughters, Mrs. 
Mildred Kirkland of Newnan Ga. Mrs. Irene McVey and Mrs. Helen McVey, both of 
Lineville. Mrs. Pauline Carlisle of Alexander City, Mrs. Bennie Mae Courtney of 
Ashland and Mrs. Ruth J. Daniel of Columbia. S. C: four sons, Robert Huddleston 
of Millerville, J. I Huddleston of Tampa, Fla, Fred Huddleston of Seattle Wash., 
and Dallis Huddleston of U.S. Air Force, Korea; 28 grandchildren and 22 great 
grandchildren.
