Ashland Progress
L. B.  Hudson, aged and respected citizen of the County, died at his home in the 
Mineral Springs community Sunday night about seven o'clock. He had been declining 
in health for some time and had been confined to his bed for several weeks. 
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon and his remains were interred in the 
old Mineral Springs burying ground. Mr. Hudson was about 66 years of age and had 
been twice married. He is survived by his last wife and eight children all grown. 
He had resided in that part of the county all of his life and was a good citizen.
