Mrs. Maudine Hunt, 28, native of Clay County, resident of Wedowee, Rt. 3, died in 
Clay County Hospital Sept. 20. Funeral rites were conducted by the Rev. Reuben 
Birchfield and the Rev. Elmer Wheeles at Corinth Baptist Church Sept. 21. Blair 
Funeral Home directed and internment in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Surviving are the 
husband, Walter Hunt, three daughters, Dorothy Ann, Rebecca and Betty Lou Hunt; 
her mother, Mrs. Daisy the Heath; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Raughton, Mrs. Annie 
Jean Hanner. five brothers, Clifton, Byron, William, James and Hilton Heath. 
Pallbearers were D. L. Wolf, Perry Wayne Denney, Julius and Carlton Wolf, Ralph 
Roughton and Julius Heath.  Acting as flower girls were Joyce, Janice, and Mary 
Denney, Frankie Kay Heath, Joyce Giddens, Veriona Yates.
