Services for Charlie Hunter, 76, of Lineville, will be today at 2 P m. at New 
Hope Baptist Church in Barfield with the Rev. Clarence Wood official. Burial 
will be in the adjoining cemetery with Strickland-Sims Funeral Home in charge. 
Mr. Hunter died Wednesday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Marie Hunter of Lineville; five daughters, Mrs. Pearlie M. Hardnett 
and Mrs. Willie Mae Jaylaci, both of Newark, N.J., Mrs. Mary Etta Carlisle of 
Lineville, Miss Shirley Ann Hunter of Carlstadt, N.J., and Miss Annie J. Hunter 
of Teaneck, N.J.; two sons, Charlie Frank Hunter and Robert C. Hunter, both of 
Lineville; a sister, Mrs. Willie Ruth Johnson of Gadsden, three brothers, Virgil 
Hunter, Manuel Hunter and Curtis Hunter, all of Lineville; 20 grandchildren, and 
eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
