Services for Willie James Hunter, 73, of Sellers, formerly of Lineville, will be 
Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Lineville with the Rev. 
Menefee and the Rev. R.S. Sankey officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining 
cemetery with Terry Funeral Home of Talladega in charge. Mr. Hunter died 
Thursday in Sellers. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Hunter of Montgomery; 
a daughter, Miss Jamesetta Hunter of Montgomery; four sons, Robert Hunter and 
Erie Hunter, both of Montgomery, James L. Hunter of Chicago, Ill., and Clarence 
Hunter of Indiana ; three stepsons, Robert Terry of Tacoma, Wash., Roy Terry of 
Atlanta, Ga., and Darnell Terry of Montgomery: four stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary F. 
Birdsong of Oxford, Mrs. Louise Johnson and Mrs. Sylvia Harrell, both of 
Atlanta, and Mrs. Helen Lawler of Germany; a sister, Mrs. Ada Wright of 
California; a brother, Neil Hunter of Ohatchee; four grandchildren and 17 great-
grandchildren; Mr. Hunter was a native of Lineville and had been a resident of 
Sellers for several years.
