Anniston Star
Mrs. Wadeene P. Hunter, 47, of Talladega, died Thursday at Citizens Hospital. 
Services were Friday at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home with the Rev. Doc Harris 
officiating. Burial was in Delta Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, James 
Hunter of Eva; her mother Mrs. Ella Phillips of Talladega; a daughter, Miss 
Regina Hunter of Talladega; three sons, Tommy Hunter of Eva, Mike Hunter and Tim 
Hunter, both of Talladega; six sisters, Mrs. Myra Finley of Lincoln, Mrs. Nola 
Crow of Anniston, Mrs. Gertrude Forest of Bemiston, Mrs. Erma Mullins and Mrs. 
Tommy Johns, both of Pell City, and Mrs. Maryland Harmon of Talladega; and three 
brothers, Roland Phillips of Jacksonville, Gus Phillips and Wayne Phillips, both 
of Talladega. Mrs. Hunter was a native of Lincoln and lived in Talladega a few 
years.
