Services for Henry Clay Hurst 78, of Delta will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. a 
Manning's Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Pat Hurst and the 
Rev. Dee Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield 
Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mr. Hurst died Sunday at Beckwood Manor 
Nursing Home. Survivors include a son. Charles Hurst of Lineville: four sisters. 
Mrs. Hattie Watts of Anniston. Mrs. Mae Freeman of Talladega, Mrs. Bertha 
Morrison and Mrs. Louneal Hamlin, both of Delta; two brothers. Bynum Hurst and 
Dee Hurst, both of Lineville; eight grandchildren and several 
greatgrandchildren. Mr. Hurst was a Clay County native and a retired carpenter. 
He was a member of Manning's Chapel Congregational Methodist Church and was 
preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lola Hurst, and a son. Horace Lee Hurst.
