Services for Horace Lee Hurst, 47, of Lineville, Rt 2, were today at Manning's 
Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Dee Hurst officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery with Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Hurst 
died Wednesday at his residence. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Cynthia Lee 
Hurst of Orlando, Fla., two sons, Horace Lee Hurst Jr. and Dwight Hurst, both of 
Sylacauga; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clay Hurst of Lineville; a brother, 
Charles Henry Hurst of Lineville; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be 
cousins. Mr. Hurst was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and a 
veteran of the Korean War. He was a carpenter and construction worker, and a 
member of Manning's Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.
