Our Mountain Home
Mrs. Elizabeth Hurst, 87, died at her home at 110 Railroad Avenue Sunday morning 
at 5 o'clock after a stroke of paralysis. She had been in ill health for 
sometime. Mrs. Hurst had lived here eleven years and was a member of the Baptist 
church. The funeral service was held at 11 o'clock Monday at Concord Baptist 
church in Clay County. Rev. Taylor McKay officiating, with Usrey in charge. 
Surviving are two sons. Bill and Isaiah of Talladega, and one daughter, Mrs. 
Jannie Freeman, of Talladega.
