Anniston Star
R. V. Hurst, 85, of Anniston, died Tuesday morning at Lineville Nursing Home. 
Funeral services scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Concord Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Harold McKinsey officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. He is 
survived by four daughters, Hattie Watts of Anniston, Mrs. Mae Freeman of 
Talladega, and Mrs. Bertha Morrison and Mrs. Louneal Hamlin of Lineville; three 
sons, Clay Hurst, Bynum Hurst and the Rev. Dee Hurst of Lineville; 28 
grandchildren; 62 greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The 
grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The body will lie at Blair Funeral Home in 
Lineville.
